I personally have this book and what I like best the visual way of teaching. It does not cover all the topics, but it covers all you will need to know at the intermediate-lower advanced level. With large pictures and illustrations, it is very easy to follow and learn.
	If I had to choose between this book and John's, I would certainly choose John's Excel Charts. As I am a book junkie and love Excel to bits, I always look for everything to fill up my bookcase (to be precise, my bedroom floor). A pretty good book for Excel chart aficionados.		Need to start programming in Excel using VBA? Look no further. This is the book for you. John is very relaxed with his writing which makes learning VBA a walk down the park. A must have for would-be Excel programmers.
	Another pretty good book on VBA programming with Excel. If you have a few pounds to spare and would like to have a more complete library and reference; then you'd certainly buy John's Excel Power Programming and this one.		This is, without a doubt, the best books on Excel Charts that you will ever find! john explain in great details how to create the most incredible charts you will find. Futhermore, you also get a CD rom with loads of samples and you can find more on his website! I must have for anyone serious on learning chart tricks in Excel
